I was helping my Dad cut down a rotting tree a few months ago. After it fell started cuttin with chainsaws. He stopped quickly when he realized at, mid-tree, there was a squirrel burrowing with 2 babies. We managed to save one and place him in the hallow stump. I Hope he survived after we left. It’s amazing how much life this tree held long after the life of the tree was fading away.
Tour crew reporting from Little Rock, Arkansas!
The 10,000 sketchbooks covered some serious ground today. Beginning in the misty mountains of southwestern Virginia and rocketing straight through Tennessee, our caravan is now roosting for the night in Little Rock.
We left the Alpine Motel…
What an adventure. Protect those sketchbooks!
I wonder if my sketchbook is in there somewhere.
Brooklyn Art Library
Ran into Shawn (I can’t go anywhere in the city without running into him) at the Brooklyn Art Library where we checked out one of Emily’s friends sketchbooks. These are some of the sketchbooks there. You should go check it out before they close!
The end.
Sketchbook Project 2011 is now complete. Just in time to send it of to the Art House Co-op. Thanks for such a fun project.
